Hello. And welcome.

Nick + Jacinta {Married - Lawrence, Kansas}

The support and love of family. That's what stood out to me in the time I was able to spend helping Nick and Jacinta with their wedding. Their day, which started at St. John Catholic Church and progressed to Abe and Jake's had the laid-back, down-to-earth feel that I love so much, with just enough anxious anticipation that makes a wedding day oh so special. And let's be honest; what could be better than celebrating Thanksgiving one day, and your wedding day the next? Here is just a brief glimpse into the scenes that made their day.

Counter Family {Loose Park, Kansas City}

If I were you to tell you that I took pictures of this awesome family in forty degree weather at seven o'clock in the morning, would you believe me? You should, 'cause I did. Ben and Mandy and their two girls are that good. Just look! (Ben and Mandy - thanks so much for braving the elements with me. More to come real soon.)

Ben + Laura

Ben and Laura were married back in October in the Kansas City Arts District. Since we were unable to squeeze in an engagement shoot, we decided we'd get together for a follow-up of sorts after their wedding. So, they brought their dog along and, as usual, we had a heck of a time just hanging out. They could both probably be fairly famous models so it's literally impossible to take a bad picture of them. (And, they're planning on adding a little guy to their family in the spring, so we made sure to get a few bump-worthy photos.)

Cody + Mary {Married} - Ragged Point, California

I first met Cody and Mary back in January and knew right away we were going to get along swimmingly (Mary and I talked about all things KU, Cody and I discussed outdoor gear, and everything was just well in the world). These two are just terrific, joy-to-be-around type of people. I was hugely honored to accompany them three weekends ago as they were wedded in - and I mean this - one of the most beautiful places I've seen. Just have a look.
